ABOUT US

We are currently a small, home based business ran by Eddie and Kellie Tarkany. Mobile Bay Rentals began by chance. In December of 2016 Eddie and Kellie were vacationing in Washington D.C on a very frigid, winter day. Looking for a break from the cold temperatures and a place to rest, they decided to see an IMAX in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and it just happened to be about America's National Parks. The entire way home, Eddie couldn't stop talking about finding a way to see some of these magnificent parks. So Eddie, being the industrious person that he is, came up with a plan: he was going to build a teardrop camper. Over the next six months, Eddie worked tirelessly to make his dream of traveling out West a reality. On June 9th, 2017, they set off on an adventure that would change their futures and lead to the start of Mobile Bay Rentals. They had an unbelievable time on their tour of the parks but when they returned, they decided that they would like to have a full size travel trailer. They bought the Wolf Pup in July and shortly thereafter decided that they wanted to share those great experiences and decided to list it on RVShare and Outdoorsy. In March of 2019, we added the Grey Wolf to the fleet and kept on growing thereafter. We are passionate about giving our customers the best camper rental experience they could possibly imagine and we look forward to talking and meeting with others in our camper community!
